Your life....your strongest weapon....why don't we use it to shine hope upon the lost...here is my life...my testimony
I was born in Santa Rosa, CA and I was a perfectly normal little boy ready to start his life. I grew up not knowing who or what God was. By the time I was 7,my mom was always working trying to raise me and my older sister as a single parent. We moved out of my dad’s house when I was 7 months old. I did not get to see my dad as much as I wanted, even though he lived a couple blocks away. So I grew up with very little authority in my life. By the age of 7, I was drinking, stealing, and had the worst mouth ever. I was only was caught stealing once at a 7/11 and the guy just let me and my friend go.
When I was 7 my mom met a guy and brought him home. Little did I know he was about to try and be my step dad. He seemed cool at first and seemed like he really cared. After he moved in all he could care about was himself. He abused me physically and emotionally up until I was 13. He still yells at me but that's it. From when I was 7 to 10 the cops were at our house all the time and things were just really bad at home. Then I find out when I was around 11 that we are moving. I felt like my life was going really bad and I had no support and no love.
So we moved to Sacramento California and I didn’t like it for I had no one, but after a month living there I was invited to go to a youth group from someone at my school, and I said sure. The youth group ended up being right across the street from my house. So I went there and was pretty consistent, going almost every week, listening and learning. After I turned 14 I started feeling what love was and who God was and is.
Then that night happened. It was April 17th 2004. I came home from a fun night at a baseball game with my youth group and I walked in the door to find my mom waiting in my room for me. Once I went in my mom told me to sit down and so I did.She looked me in the eyes and said "Michael......your father has passed away......" I immediately broke down and ran out of the room to the street where I fell to my knees and I cried and cried, begging God for forgiveness and pleading with Him."Please bring my father back please...I need my father...I never really got to know him.." I prayed and cried for a long time and realized how much I needed God :) So I accepted God into my heart that day. April 17th 2004 I was reborn...
For the last 6 years I have made a major turnaround, praising and worshiping God with everything I do. My testimony will be forever used for God’s glory.
Now I am going to do a discipleship training school in Ensenada Mexico this fall. God is so amazing!
In my life I have gone through death, being homeless, stealing, drinking, abused, living with a single parent, near death experiences etc. God has blessed me with this testimony and I am able to relate to people going through similar things...
Your testimony is powerful and should be used to reach His people. God has blessed everyone with a story and everyone is unique for we are all different. You may think your testimony a big deal, but it is. You don’t have to have had one like mine, it is still important and powerful. It is yours and no one can tell your story.
I challenge you to share your story with a friend and you will see God work. He is so amazing! I thank God for my life everyday and we all should be, for He was the one who gave us this life :)
He has given us all so much and we need to thank Him. I know I do, I thank Him for things that happen every day, even the big things :) I thank him for bringing people into my life like Carmichael Bible Church and everyone in YWAM Ensenada. Most of all my fiancé Alex. I am so grateful, and that is my testimony

God is always here
The strength to keep going on after all seems lost. When you loose that drive to show even a smile on your face. Think of God. When you feel like things are hopeless in your own world. Think of God. When you want to do so much but have no support. Think of God. When you think people just do not care. Think of God. When life seems to loose its purpose. Think of God.
All of these things just think of God for he is always there holding you up when you have no more steam left in you. He is always there to cheer up his child. He is always there when your life is not going so good. He is always there when no one seems to be there for you. He is always there in your life.
He is always there. seeing the things you see. feeling the things you feel. tasting the things you taste. He is always there.
You are his child and he loves you no matter what.
never think your alone for he is standing right beside you through every step of your life.
Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me."
Whenever you feel you can't go on, or something is too difficult, think of this verse and know that you can do all things through Christ, because He is the one giving you the strength.
He is here. He is alive. He is in us. He loves us.
HE IS...........

My frustration
My life in Christ and my wisdom is only seen by God. Why can't people see me as the man God created me to be. People do not take me serious enough. I can be serious, I can change lives, I have a voice and it is a big one. I may be passive and a peace maker with my attitude when people make me feel inferior. But I will not force them to see who i am. It is up to them if they want to open there eyes and see who I really am and see that God created me to be something amazing.
This is not only for me but for all of you. Who feels the same frustration as me. That people treat you like a kid, less, or they are better. I believe God created us all the same. Gave us individual gifts and passions that we have and no one else has. We are all equally important. I pray every night that people would see me as the man the God created me to be. My love for him grows greater and greater everyday for he was the one who created me.
Happy Easter everyone
I am going to keep this one short....pray for me that i can hold it together please

To be a light in a dark world
To be a light in this dark world takes a lot for a person to do. Of course there is that spiritual high and you lift your hands up to him at a christian concert or an awesome message. And you tell him lord I am all yours and then when you go back home or just to school or work. You realize the stress and how hard it is to speak his name. We walk by that person and just look, do not even say a word. Who are we? We just came back from an awesome experience with God and we just forgot things we learned. We need to keep that spirtitual high alive and do not forget who God is even for a second. We need daily reminders of how amazing he is. You should have no fear in lord but honestly its easier to say than to do.
Does this sound like you? It sounds like me
I have been there, going to a camp or a concert and coming home and after the first couple days you feel the weight on your shoulders of the world. The spiritual high starts to fade and you start to slowly let things go.
Everyones been there so i want to challenge you...this week go up to the first person that you feel that needs a friend or just someone to talk to and ask them how they are. Don't be scared for you will find results. You don't even have to preach to them just go be a friend to someone and stir something in there heart. I also want to challenge you to really take it seriously and find someone to keep you accountable on keeping your fire in your heart lit. Turn that light and break the knob. Its time to start a forest fire in your heart that wont go out. You can do it I know you can.
Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light for my path.
Psalm 119:105
Take this verse seriously for you have the light the whole time right under your nose. My last challenge for you. Take your bible with you where ever you go for one week and hold it in the open and read it in public.
"A light is only good in the open"

How do we keep the fire lit, how do we keep the fire alive?
Its up to you how bright your light shines in this world. Its as if we were a dimmer in our house and when we get home from an awe moment with our lord we just dim our light when we feel the pressure. We need to turn that knob and just break it so we can not turn it off. Do not be scared when approaching someone for you do not know how deeply they need love or how much they just need a friend. We should not be scared and say "I can't do it" because those people that we do not approach may never be approached. We do not want to be the reason that person never felt that one of kind love that we received when we accepted Jesus Christ. Now is the time for us to rise and use that voice that
